Go ahead and take that space bar off. Before you go any further tho', let me point out some of the features of this spacebar and how it is attached. You've seen that paper-clip type wire and noticed how it slides under the left and right retainers on the keyboard? Good.

     Now look at how the key is beveled. All of the keys have that same beveled edge, and that edge always is towards the typist.

 

 

     Now look at where it was attached. All of the keys are attached in the same manner.

 

 

     That small rectangle in the center of the picture is what holds and guides each of the keys. It is also where all of the "stickiness" occurs.
     Take notice of the round "guide" hole in the center, and the two small edges(left and right).
     Those three areas are common to every key. And they are also the areas you will lubricate with the Armorall.

     This shows you the guide post and the clasping arms of the spacebar. Again, those features are common to each key. (Sorry that this picture is not more clear. I will try to improve these pictures at a later date.)
