Unsolicted Testimonials

I just bought a new Sony KI-W250 keyboard. I thought it would be so much better than my old Sony. The old one worked perfectly except the space bar was so stiff it had become a pain to try to type with it. After I had the new one a few days I missed the ease of the old one,,,it's so much smoother and quicker to use.
Anyway I tried your repair method on the space bar and now it's perfect! Your instructions were great. I'm a 70 year old woman who's always been machanically inclined and I'm sure that was an asset. But if an 70 year old lady can fix a keyboard, I should think most anyone could!
I just wanted to tell you how wonderful I think you are to have given such great instructions...Thanks again...and Happy Holidays...DeDe

Hello Snail,
Thanks for the reply, I wrote you mainly to thank you for taking the time to make up that page...I just used it, and made an old keyboard work like new thanks to you.
My origional board I broke a few keys on, way before I ever saw your page...
I thought they pop off and used to much force the wrong way, didn't know about the little arms.
Thanks again,
Mike

Just finished doing exactly as you showed on your page....amazing...it's just like new....i was going to go buy a new keyboard today...it was very easy...but yes...like you said..patience. Also ppl...don't pry the keys too hard...it doesn't take that much force to take the keys off.
Once again....THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you so much for your fix it page-
my keyboard was so bad, the keys stuck something awful, I broke down and bought a new one, although i really couldn't afford it. Well i came across your page and thought why not try to fix the old one, I had nothing to lose since i had a new one. I printed out your instructions and sat at my dining room table and began removing keys, everyone thought i was nuts! To make a long story short, I FIXED MY OLD KEYBOARD ! I am so proud of myself, mind you, Iam a 50 year old wi
dow and never did any kind of fix it job before. I took my new keyboard back to the store and got my money back.
The only thing I did different is, I found it easier to put the armorall on with my finger instead of the toothpick.
Again, I thank you, you saved me $50.00.

Great Page, Great Jinx!
The cleaning went absobeautifully great! I can type quicker and make up long words again! Uh, you gotta do me one BIG favor though... Before I see the page again, you know the part where a key could'nt possibly get behind an entertainment center? I'm not going to admit I am that stupid, um...if the dog had'nt ate, I mean bumped my arm, I never would have been caught at 4:30 am looking for a key behind, guess what. Thanks for the cleaning tips, even sony did'nt tell me when I asked them.(of course you are'nt selling keyboards) But I got a big old smile typing this, and for FREE! Hey Sony, Bite me!
      Boo Coo Thankx, Randall K.

And now... the other side...

Thanks a lot. My keyboard was working just fine except for a little sickliness. Now after following your dumb ass instructions, to the letter, I've got a smooth, but non working(broken) keyboard. Now I'm out $60 bucks, and no keyboard, and all I hear from you is I'm sorry. I don't have the money to replace it !. Thanks for the headache . Frank Lupi,

Uh, sorry Frank.

Can't thank you enough. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. I did take it one step farther though. I used a toothbrush very carefully with Armor all. This thing works better than new. Also on the reinstallation of the caps, I took them all off at one time layed them out in order so I could get to the whole keyboard. Putting them back on was simple, just a side to side wiggle and snapped them right in. I just got this back and it was driving me crazy. No more. I also think I'll try to cover it in saran wrap to protect it. Thanks again.

I was sitting one day about to throw my keyboard as far as I could because I just couldn't stand the sticky keys any longer. Well I logged on to the net and stumbled across your page. Thinking to myself,"Yeah right, this keyboard stuff is gonna save this keyboard?!" When I gave you a shot and I am simply amazed!!! My keyboard has been restored to almost new condition! The keys are soooo much better and I wanted to say thanx for saving me 50 bucks!! I wish I could have found your page 3 keyboards and 150 bucks sooner!! Thanxs again and Ill definitely put a link on my page to your page as soon as I get it up!! Jazz
