1. STRIKE ZONE: A strike zone mat will not be
used.
2. PITCHING RULES: Minimium Height=6 feet from ground; Maximium Height= 10 feet.
3. COUNT: 3 Balls and 2 Strikes with an extra foul.
4.TIME LIMIT: All Seed Games have 1 hour and 15 minutes or run rule. All Play Off Games will be (7) innings, unless decided by run rule.
5. METAL CLEATS: Metal Cleats WILL NOT be permitted.
6. UNIFORM RULE: Shirts will be alike and have at least a (3) inch number.No protest on uniforms will be allowed.
7.GAME TIME: Game time is forfeit time. Teams are asked to be ready to play 30 minutes before scheduled game time. This will be a decision of the Tournament Director.
8. HOME TEAM: Home team will be decided by the toss of a coin prior to the game time.
9. LINE UP CARDS: Line up cards must be turned in (15) minutes prior to scheduled game time.
10. RUN RULE: (15) Runs after 3 innings, (12) runs after 4 innings, (10) runs after 5 innings.
11. TEAM MAY BAT 12: ANY 11 OF THE 12 CAN PLAY DEFENSE. Batting order must remain the same.
12. RE-ENTRY RULE: Starters may re-enter the game one time. batting order must remain the same.
13. COMMITMENT LINE: A commitment line shall be marked in foul territory halfway between 3rd base and home plate. Once a runner touches the ground on or past the commitment line , runner must advance to scoring plate, defensive players can put the runner out by touching home plate while holding the ball (Player cannot touch the runner).
14. SCORING PLATE: The scoring plate is for the offensive team and home plate is for the defensive team. If the runner touches home plate the runner is automatically out. If there is an attempt by the defensive team to tag the runner, the runner is automatically safe.
15. COURTESY RUNNER: A courtesy runner may be used at any time. Any player on the team roster may be a courtesy runner. The same courtesy runner may not be used more than once per inning, and any courtesy runner caught running more than once per inning, or running when it is her turn to bat will be declared out.
In the 70+ and over division, a courtesy runner player can run as many times as they want. Except a courtesy runner cannot run for another courtesy runner.
16. SLIDING OR DIVING: Sliding or diving into first base or home plate, when scoring, is not permitted and such players will be called out. However, a player MAY slide into 2nd or 3rd base, or when returning to any base.
17. ALL WOMEN'S TEAM DIVISION'S MUST BE TRUE AGE AT THE END OF THE CALENDAR YEAR. For instance a 40+45+50+55+60+65+70+ team should be that true age as of Dec 31st of that calendar year.
18. ALL PARTICIPANTS IN A MASTERS/SENIORS WORLD TOURNAMENT MUST HAVE A PHOTO I.D. WITH PROOF OF AGE,AND CHECK IN WITH TOURNAMENT OFFICIALS PRIOR TO PARTICIPATING.
19. OVER RUNNING: Over running is permitted in the 50+55+60+65+and 70+ women's seniors program. The base runner is allowed to overrun second and third base without being put out as long as she makes no attempt to advance to the next base. The base runner must retouch second or third before advancing.
20. OVER RUNNING: Over running is NOT permitted in the 40+45+women's senior program.
21: A member of one team CANNOT play in two different division's.
22. Women 40+ Team may have NO more than 4 active Women's Class"A"Players on their Roster.
23. There is no limit on the number of Home Runs A Women's Master team can hit per game in all Divisions.
24. THE USSSA 2007 RULE BOOK WILL GOVERN ALL OTHER PLAYING RULES.
