Richard L. 'Dick' Hinkle
CLARKSBURG -- Richard L. "Dick" Hinkle, age 74, of Cape Coral, Fla., and formerly of Clarksburg, died Friday afternoon, December 3, 2004, at Cape Coral,
Fla.
He was born in Harrison County on July 6, 1930, a son of the late George William Hinkle and Thelma Pearl (Means) Hinkle. Surviving are his wife, Joan Elizabeth (Borror) Hinkle; two sons, William
L.
Hinkle, Maple Lake, and Bradley L. Hinkle and his wife Rebecca, Bridgeport, WV; one daughter, Teri Joan Carroll and her husband Michael, Dallas, TX, six
grandchildren, William L. Hinkle Jr., Brandon J. Hinkle, Corey Scott Hinkle, Sara
Lane Hinkle, Bryce Anthony Carroll and Alexander Carroll; one stepdaughter, Lizabeth White and her husband Michael; and one stepgrandson, Thomas White. He attended Washington Irving High School, Potomac State College and West Virginia University. Mr. Hinkle founded and operated Hinkle Construction and
Sales Corp., Woodson Pallet Co., W & H Inc. and Eastern Overthrust Drilling Inc.
He served as past president of the Maple Lake Club, past director of the North Central Contractors Association, past director of the United Health System
and a corporate member of United Hospital Center. Mr. Hinkle was a previous member of the Bridgeport United Methodist Church and was a member of the Cape Coral United Methodist Church in Cape Coral. He served as president of the Bridgeport Rotary Club, past district governor
of Rotary District 7530, district chairman of the Rotary Polio-Plus Program and was group study exchange team leader to Australia. Also, he was a Paul Harris Fellow in the Rotary Foundation and in 1977 was presented with the Citation for Meritorious Service from the Rotary Foundation.
Mr. Hinkle served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.
There will be a memorial service announced at a later date. Davis-Weaver service.

Since Bill and I were lucky enough to get to attend our second World Series this month since we have been going to the Marlin games since they started their professional baseball team down here in 1993 thought I would share this picture to post with the graduates of 1948.
As you can see it was taken at one of the playoff games. We have enjoyed baseball very much and find it to be a very exciting game.
Everything has been going well for us this year so far.
Have enjoyed looking at the pages you posted of the reunion this year.

Bill and Dee have been married 53 years and have Three Children, Two Daughters and One Son. Also Four Grand Children. Bill worked for a Water Supply Company for over 20 Years. Then retired and became President of his own Design Sales Company Specializing in Water and Sewage Plant Systems. They both retired for good in 1995 and say retirement has been a Ball! .......

Tom and Joan Keeney Raese of East Wenatchee Celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in September during a surprise party at Cannon Beach, Ore.
The event was planed by their four children (Two Sons, Two Daughters).
Joan Keeney became the bride of Tom Raese September 12th 1953, in Clarksburg, West Virginia. They lived in various cities throughout the United States during his service in the U.S. Navy, and while he attended college and graduate school. They have lived in Wenatchee since 1971. He retired as a plant physiologist for the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture and she retired as a substitute teacher with the Wenatchee and Eastmont school districts. The Raeses have six grand-children. Tom grew up in Morgantown, West Virginia.......
